need for power

or is it technique? was at the imf bouldering comp today -- masters level (should have competed in advanced, since masters was mainly the pro-category). anyway, it was good to be out and competing. i lacked focus ans planning, though got further than i initially thought. next time, i should be more calm, and speak to myself. itching to go back on wednesday and try the routes, specially the second one (total there were two routes, 4mins each). enough fun for sunday morning, time to catch up on work a bit!

1st thing-you should have chosen advanced level
2nd thing-more of focus and planning was required rather than power.because you had a prefixed thought that you would not be able to do the 1st route,so you were thinking about the 2nd route more.and in this entire process you lost your focus and patience for the 1st route.may be you should try for the next month end competition.but it's always good to compete with the best of people around.
ps:may be too much funda from somebody who knows nothing of climbing!!!
